360 Pictures is producing a story told through the eyes of a young Mediterranean Maltese woman,imprisoned in darkness. As she comes to close grasp of fulfilling a lifelong dream, an imprudent choice intertwines her plan to the nightmarish. Inspired by a true story, "Moondance" is a short film that will make a difference.

This Short Film project should go into production around early 2012.
It is a story written by our team member Paul de Leonardo, (Winner of the Golden Palm Award at the Beverly Hills Film Festival). Ryan Gatt will be directing this film, all to be shot in Malta.
Synopsis:
“Moondance” is a story about desire and aspiration. Despite the many conflicts one is forced to face in life, there is always a window for success.
Malta 2011. ALPHA, mid-twenties, prepares a choreography for the long awaited day to dance in the open for an audience that despised her, while the moon spectates through her large bedroom window. She is virtually imprisoned in the darkness of her overzealous grandmother’s house and is made to believe that she is brought to this world as an abomination.
Since childhood, ALPHA suffered from XP; a rare condition which forbids her to be exposed to any form of intense light, except for that which shines from the moon; her only friend who back in time had promised that one day she will be free to fulfill her lifelong dream. On the eve of the big day, ALPHA realises that her only chance of escape before her dreadful illness takes over is slim. Just then she takes the wrong decision. The grandmother prepares to incarcerate her.
After a wrestle between them, she locks her up. ALPHA’s chances are doomed, while the moon waits. Confusion increases. Time is running out but her obstinate need to escape fires her determination. ALPHA breaks out into silence. As she walks down towards her freedom, NANNA lies in a pool of blood.
